Clara Aranovich is the daughter of an Argentine physicist and a Chilean market researcher, though she was born and raised in the Bay Area of California. Her work has played at SXSW, the Flux Screening Series at the Hammer Museum, Stockholm Film Festival, Mill Valley Film Festival, has been distributed by NOWNESS and chosen as a Vimeo Staff Pick. She has directed commercials for clients such as Fitbit, Milk, LG, Salesforce, and was the first female director to direct a commercial for Major League Baseball. She produced YOSEMITE, a feature film starring James Franco, which closed Slamdance. When she is not making films or theater, she is usually climbing or exploring in the out-of-doors.
